The Think...Imagine...Write camps are for children entering grades 4-7.
This summer marks the 13th year of the young author camps. During the camps, children participate in many hands on activities that help them grow as writers. This year, each class will focus on narrative story writing as last year was a huge success! Kids will learn strategies to improve story writing such as... * Learning the skill of elaboration. * Writing an exciting beginning. * Techniques used to write fully elaborated stories. * Concluding stories in a powerful ways! By the end of the week, each student will share a personal story at a writing celebration! Come join the fun and see why kids come back year after year! My daughter attended writing camp the past two summers and has absolutely loved it! Mrs. Mustain brings out the best in every young author, celebrating their strengths as writers and helping them grow even stronger.
